LS originated in the internationally known LG Group in Korea. Tractor production began in 1977 and the company has a high reputation in the USA and other export markets, producing 9000 units per year of which 6500 are exported. The LS Rio series consist of 28, 36, and 50 horsepower models complete with 3 range pedal-operated hydrostatic transmissions with Mitsubishi diesel engines. Both agricultural and turf tyres are available. Rio tractors come with two x double acting spool valves, road kit, front weights, position & draft control and two years warranty. The U Series come as 41, 47 and 57 (turbo) hp models. New for 2008 are sub-compacts at 20, 23 & 27hp and the Plus Series at 70, 80, & 90hp.
